On the next day, June 20th (a a few hours later), we had to leave very early in order to reach the Festival Beat on time. After passing
the Austrian Alps, we arrived at the border. We couldn't hide our joy and screamed silly interjections (as each time we pass across a frontier - you know how to make us happy now) such as "Yoohoo! Berlusconi! Vanfanculo! Vitello Tonato! Cicciolina! Spaghetti! Mussolini!". Sorry about that but that's a CW ritual. Then Armin opened a can of tunafish.
Everything was great, we were on time as suddenly, there was no movement at all on the motorway.
Around 09:00 PM, we finally arrived at the fantastic Piacenza Festival Beat #11!!! (click the picture to see the poster)
At the Festival Beat - Pictures sent by Gianni Fuso
After 10 hours spent in the van, we immediately carried our instruments to the stage and did a short soundcheck. We were supposed to play in the middle but as we had arrived three hours too late (you know, the Frenglish plague...), we had to start
first. So half an hour later we were so far. There are already pictures available under BUS1.NET! Some of them (thanks to Gianni again!):
After us, our Belgian friends of Dutronic and Los Banditos from Eastern Germany made some cool and sexy shows. For pictures, surf
to BUS1.NET! too!
And Gianni gave Cécile a limited poster of the festival designed by Malleus. It is done with a metallic shine and looks even more fantastic in real!!!:
On June 21st we were supposed to play in Milano or some other place I don't really remember, but the guy who'd confirmed the
gig cancelled it one week before. Very professional... However, it was lucky because we spent such a great time on the second day of the Festival too! And here the stalls with Isabelle Hell and the Never Evers guitar player Renato, records, clothing, Mexican wrestler masks, etc.

And here are The Frantic V who directly came from Greece!:
Now the rare Masonics from England! (with members of the incredible Milkshakes, Headcoats, Mighty Ceasars, Bristols, etc. and
Masonics!!!): And The Defectors from Denmark:
More pictures, the footnotes will follow...
We got these pix from Dirk DUTRONIC:
After the concerts, we went on with parties (I had to censure a lot of pictures, believe me!!!) until we finally had to come back to the
house... Michael made a spectacular stunt performance in Gianni's car
(everybody thought he'd actually flow out of the car) and Armin drove like Michael Schuhmacher.
On the next day, there was a huge article in the newspapers. We've got one:

That's the proof!:
Half an hour later, the truck is obviously a huge step beyond us...
So Cécile called Gianni at the festival while Armin and Rodeo started to play football, as Germans always do in such situations... I guess... otherwise they wouldn't be vice-masters...
The next picture was shot during the soundcheck too.
And that's Gianni below, the Festival Beat POPE and our super tour manager, obviously with a good friend!
