June 24th: In Bologna, a very cool guy from Switzerland - Franco - was in charge of us at the Scandellara Rock. We played on quite a big stage (but not too big - actually perfect) with two PAs (outside and on stage). Armin had to play in a transparent plastic cage... but that was OK because we're nothing but little monkeys... That was a good gig and people danced (which seems to be not that usual during the Italian summers...) At midnight, it was Armin's birthday while he was singing Otis Redding's Security. At the end, Rodeo sprang in the air and totally destroyed his trousers and liters of water dropped from Cécile's plaits. The audience was even more dancing as we dedicated "The Munsters Theme" to our old good Berlusconi. We heard then that Bologna is a cool working class left oriented town. It was a very big open-air place with many stalls, people selling costume jewellery, candles and that kind of stuff. After the gig (after one week partying, we wanted to be serious and go back home before the sun comes up...), we had the best food of the whole tour (Cécile was happy!... more about her culinary expectations another time...) and then spent a great time with Franco, lovely Patty and other ultra kind people we'd like to meet again some day. Before we left many hours later, Franco showed some quite psychedelic projections with a vintage projector of the 1930's if I'm not wrong:

Then the boys played football (see 2nd day of the tour in the traffic jam)...

iIt looks like it was already in the morning...

...and Armin won 4 to 3 against Rodeo.

After the gig and the nice time spent with these cool people, we drove back to the hotel...

...and stayed a little bit on Dirtee and Lazee Wurlee's balcony.

Suddenly around 8:00 AM, we realised that Lazee Wurlee had disappeared, so we searched all around the place...

That was a shock for us. And that's what happened then:

It was horrible!

You can't imagine how happy we were on the next day as we realised that Judy was still alive!
